Masai Mara game Reserve
This is the commonly know reserve because of wildlife tends to be most concentrated on the reserve. Annual wildebeest’s migration happens in this reserve and it involves over 1.6 million animals that arrive in July and depart in November.
Climate conditions
It has an altitude of 5,300 feet, the rainy season is from November through May and usually, the rains are on the peak during the months of December and Januar. The dry season starts from June to November.
How to access
You can access it either by road drive which is usually organised by travel companies such as Expeditions safaris, Bornfireadventures and other companies. Otherwise, you can use the two all-weather airstrips which are Mara Serena and Kichwa Tembo

Masai Mara has luxury high-end hotels that offer luxury rooms and different type of foods, you can also find camping facilities at Kichwa Tembo, Mara Siria and Kilima camp. Two commonly known lodges are located in the triangle.

Amboseli national park
This national park is located in Southern Kenya, it is well known for its large herds of elephant and has great views of Mt.Kilimanjaro. You can also find varied wildlife such as giraffes, cheetahs, lions, hyenas, zebras and as well all kind of bird species.
Climate conditions
The conditions are hot and dry most of the time, drought is common in this area, although when it happens to rain it is in showers maybe heavy showers sometimes. During the day the temperature may sometimes rise to around 28 degrees to 59 degrees. On average the warmest months are January, February and December, and the dry periods are in July, August and September
How to access
Amboseli is in the immediately of the north-west of Mount Kilimanjaro, which is in the border with Tanzania, by road you can access via Email on the Nairobi-Mombasa Road, or you can access via an airstrip that is located at Empusel gate. There are other airstrips at the exist at Kilimanjaro Buffalo Lodge and Namanga town.

Tsavo west national park
This national park is located in the coastal province of Kenya, it is more mountainous and wet than its counterpart. This park has natural scenery and you will have views of lions, elephants, rhinos, leopards, wild dogs, buffalo, rhino, zebra, crocodile, mongoose, hyrax, dik-dik, lesser kudu, nocturnal porcupine among others. it has a size of 7,065 sq. Km
The climate ranges from 20-300 c and rainfall from 200mm to 700mm, there are long rains between March and April while short rains between November and December. You can travel all year round
How to access
Main access routes via the road are through Chyulu Gate from Amboseli and Mtito Andei gate from Nairobi, By air there are 3 airstrips in the park.
